Sounds fancy doesn’t it? Well it’s not, in face it’s very basic.

We do things well that we’ve done a hundred times. We train our brains to go  into auto-pilot to complete tasks our conscious mind already knows how to do well. Athlete’s call it, “being in the zone” and psychologists call it, “being in state”, like being in a  certain state of mind. These help to achieve positive results.

There are negatives as well. Smoking, for instance, is  repetitive habit that keeps you wanting more. If you’re a smoker, as I once (twice) was, then you know what I mean right away. Smoking is repetition. You do it over and over again, hundreds of times a day or week or month. You do it so often that your brain thinks it’s normal and to NOT do it is painful.

This is the power of repetition. Use it toward a positive end and get results. Period.
